5,684 miles, 2,700 WeChat steps and 6 espresso shots later – the team finally arrive at of the shores of Xiamen, Fujian province – for the 6th White Collar fight night event were local businesses sponsor fighters to battle it out for local pride and glory – raising money for charity.
The white collar scene dates back to the 1980’s where white-collar workers would meet monthly to get sweaty and knock each other out! Today, it’s become a sceptical community event where the who’s who of business owners adopt and train their own rocky balboa’s to represent them in the event.
WCFN – White Collar Fight Night – developed and established by fitness fanatic and local celebrity John Graham has travelled across south China visiting cities such as Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Chengdu and now Xiamen raising money for local Charities along the way.
There’s no denying it, the white collar events are great fun and a night to remember but its more than just entertainment, it’s an opportunity to network, meet new people and also help raise awareness and money for charity.
